Kaui has been the best port of the cruise. The port of Nawiliwili once served the sugar cane industry but now that tourism is the primary industry the port caters to cruise ships better than Maui and Hilo. There were free shuttles to malls close to the port. But, best of all, is Kalapaki beach that is a short walk from the ship.
On the beach is a Marriott vacation resort but anyone can access the beach due to Hawaii law. We spent the morning frolicking in the surf and suntanning. Marilyn's tan is very dark and Dwight is working on his.

The ship left at 2:00 so we could sail to the NaPali coast on the north shore on the way back to Honolulu and the end of the cruise. The NaPali coast features rugged cliffs of over 1000 feet right on the shore line. Being on the windward side of the island, the cliffs are mostly green and lush with many rainbows due to the ever-present clouds on the mountains. The views of this even surpassed the Waimea canyon.

Our last night on the ship featured a good dinner, a variety show in the theater and packing of our suitcases. We disembark right after breakfast.
