Day 7: So long Waikiki

Today is a day of getting ready to travel.  Packing and laundry are the order of business this morning and we prepare to board the Pride of America early afternoon here in Honolulu.

Check in was a breeze.  We were on the ship in 20 minutes but our cabin was not ready.  We took the restaurant tour until our cabin was ready.

After a quick unpack it was off to the Margaritas Tasting.  We expected to sample the types of margaritas but it turned out to be 5 full ones in an hour.  Needless to say we met some new BFFs and needed a nap afterwards! We took a walk on the deck as we left port.

On the high seas we went to the Lazy J Steakhouse for dinner.  There are premium restaurants where you pay $10 or $15 per person for a meal with individual service.  The food was okay.  My prime rib was overdone and Marilyn's food was too salty.

After a stroll to see the stars and full moon, it was off to bed early.  We awake in Maui!
